Marvelous Market: Uncanny Comics to Buy March 20

Hello, and welcome to the Marvelous Market. If this is your first time here, welcome. This is the log of comics I, Spike Stonehand, the world’s greatest comic critic, am buying this week. Are you considering buying a new comic book for the first time? It can be overwhelming to know what, out of so many options, is worth buying. And they are so expensive!

Man’s Best # 1

Dawn Runner # 1

It’s my list and I can do what I want, so I’m picking 2 brand new series as the pick of the week. BOTH feature stories from some of the hottest new-ish writers and artists in the industry. BOTH feature niche genres I love (animal-exploitation and kaiju/mechs). BOTH are for sure recommendations to anyone looking to try out a new comic book series. So do yourself a favor and buy both of these new number ones. And make sure to tell them I sent you.

DC’s Ape-ril Special

A one-shot featuring all of the apes in DC comics. Do I need to say more?

If You Find This I’m Already Dead # 2

Cobra Commander # 3

Star Trek # 18

Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees # 4

If you like the writing I do, thank you! Check out my back catalogue and consider giving me a tip. It will help cover the website costs and also help me buy more comics to write about. You can also buy copies of Divining Comics # 1 print and digital, Divining Comics # 2 print and digital, and Divining Comics # 3 print and digital. The digital versions includes over 75 pages of FREE readable and printable pdfs, so you can print copies yourself and share with all of your friends. Friends don’t let friends go without the best comic book criticism on the web, written accessibly to someone without comics knowledge but in depth enough for an expert to gain insight. I appreciate your support!
